Student Activities: Georgia Standards
In January, a dream of millions of Americans will be fulfilled. A day after celebrating the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Barack Hussein Obama will be inaugurated as our first African American President on January 20.
Explore the life and work of these pioneers inside SIRS Researcher, with activities linked to your state standards.
To extend the inaugaration theme to younger researchers, ask learners to choose one topic or issue that will be in the news during the first 180 days of the Obama administration.
