| SIRS to Unveil Library Print of Alabama Library at Alabama Library Association Conference
BOCA RATON, FL, March 28, 2003
- SIRS Publishing, Inc. will be unveiling the eleventh library print
in the SIRS Celebrates America's Public Libraries Collection at the
Alabama Library Association Conference "Exhibitor's Reception" on the
evening of Wednesday, April 2nd at 5:00 p.m.
Three years ago, SIRS initiated this series of fine prints to
recognize and honor the essential role public libraries play in our
culture. Today, many of these prints grace the walls of school and
public libraries across the country.
"I know I speak for all of the members of the White House
Conference on Library and Information Services Taskforce (WHSLIST)
when I express my appreciation to SIRS. Many of our members have the
prints framed and hang them in their homes, their offices or
libraries. Thank you, again, for your concept of the prints and
especially for sharing them with me and others who are strong
advocates for free public libraries." -- Sara Jane Cate, Former
Chairwoman, WHCLIST
Visit SIRS Booth #48 to enter a raffle to win a framed copy of the
print signed by the artist, Joe Davis. Complimentary prints and
notecards will also be available at the SIRS Booth.
